Hello Friends & Family!

Good news of great joy::

WE HAVE ARRIVED SAFELY IN UGANDA!!!

We did a great job as a team traveling together, all our luggage came in (and quickly) and we had no problems at customs! Praise the Lord!

We were met by Pastor Henry, and he had a mini bus ready to go. We loaded up, arrived at the SUPER NICE houses that are hosting us, and they had a meal ready to go for us.

We ate chapati and pork, and drank tea or hot cocoa. Everybody loved chapati!!! Our housing setup is the nicest we've seen in a mission-trip environment, not exaggerating!! Extremely safe:: NICE gated house, with bars on the windows, and locks, and a guard outside at night. We each have a mattress, and the bugs have been leaving us alone for the most part! :) Yes, we are taking our meds, using our nets, and using bug spray. 

As for the team feeling good, some people felt a little nasty in the plane, which is normal. Those people got to rest and they're doing much better. We even had one of our team members get healed when another teammate prayed for her. She felt better instantly! Thank You God, for showing us so quickly how powerful You are to heal when we have the faith to ask.

Today is our rest day, and tomorrow we will begin ministry. We are meeting with the pastor today, and he might possibly go for a walk with us to see Lake Victoria, which is walking distance away. :)

Team Agape is so blessed and happy to be in Uganda.

Keep us in your prayers for fruitful ministry! Jesus is already showing us how much He has in store for this month. It's all VERY GOOD!

We'll be blogging again soon. Our goal is to have all the team members take turns writing updates, and put together blogs with a few of their stories at a time. You'll hopefully hear a little bit from all of us!
