They’re all around us. Every place we walk or have nightmares about. And they’re not helping us. But trying to destroy us in any way possible.
Day 4 in Uganda. 7 girls feeling some sort of sickness. The time was different. The culture was different. The food was different and our bodies were not used to such change.
We felt horrible. Not wanting to do anything, staying home from ministry, and sleeping constantly. Demons were attacking us. They were attacking our group and doing anything they could, putting any kind of sickness they had into us to keep us from furthering the kingdom of God. We were in the middle of a strong storm and fighting to get over a huge wave. But let me tell you something. We are a temple of the Holy Spirit, not a temple of sickness and Satan. And we didn’t’ giving up. We are an army of 18 powerful people. Not just any kind of army, but an army that has one person at the beginning, the middle and the end. And that person is God. We are an army that went in full force with God through this storm of sickness, and big wave of doubt, worry, and sorrow to fight back. The demons were trying to make us think that the sickness could over rule us, but with the Holy Spirit inside of us, we knew it couldn’t because with the strength of the Lord, and the perseverance in our hearts to make His name famous was more powerful then the lies the demons were telling us.
Even though the storms come, there’s always a rainbow at the end. No wave is too big and no storm is too strong for the Lord and His army. We are fighters, and we have come into this country fighting with Power and will continue to fight until his name is glorified.
